I actually spent quite a bit of time on this getting it right.
I decided on painting some stuff, and opened the hobby drawer that hasn't been opened for like.. five years. I decided to be inspired by my work process as a three year old.

My mum would maybe give me a piece of paper and ask if I wanted to draw, and then I'd shout that I wanted to paint, and crunch up the paper. Thus I crunched the paper, and got the crunched look.

Then mum would say that of course I could paint, and she'd give me watercolours. In this scenario I've decided that I decided to paint on blue. When the paper is painted blue, I leave it to dry. As a three year old I would forget about the whole thing, now I use a blow dryer to get it ready for the next step.

The next time I want to paint, mum tells me to continue on the one I've started on. I don't want to paint on blue anymore, and thus I flip the paper. The blue from the other side has poked through the paper in some places, this is how the blue-ish marks are created.

I decide to outline what I want to paint. With a crayon. I'm going to paint over it anyway, so I take an orange one.

I paint everything with the largest brush I can find, and put down the colours, I don't think this through, so I paint in layers, of course, these layers aren't allowed to dry, thus the green sun, from the blue sky mixed with the yellow sun.

I realize that the watercolours don't cover the crayon lines. I decide to add some lines where there should be some. The paper is soaked, and so create holes. I get sad, and leave it. It is left to dry. In the present I get my blowdryer again.

After a while I decide to continue, and add some coloured wood chips to finish it off.
